There are many activities that are performed on the airside area of an airport and an understanding of these is essential for a safe and efficient conduct of aircraft and vehicle movements. This course will provide learners with a further and deeper understanding into working as an airline cabin crew. You will study a variety of subjects on this course including the role and responsibilities of cabin crew on board an aircraft; airline health, safety and security on the aircraft and at the airport; aviation terminology and world geography; aviation medicine and emergency procedures. You will learn duties, responsibilities, and local and international aviation regulations. You will be proficient in meteorology, emergency systems and procedures, security, communications, air traffic control, navigation principles and systems, instrument approach procedures, charting, airspace, aerodynamics, aircraft systems and performance, extended range operations, terrain driftdown, weight (mass) and balance, minimum equipment lists, configuration deviation lists, international ops, regulations, icing, flight planning, fuel conservations, human factors, dispatch resource management and practical dispatching. You will be familiar with operation control/dispatch software such as flight planning systems, crew scheduling, airport analysis/aircraft performance analysis, NavData, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and other related products.

Civil Aviation Authorities
We are proud of our working relationship with the regional Civil Aviation Authorities who are responsible for the oversight and regulation of civil aviation in their countries with a focus on aviation safety, security, airspace management policy, economic regulation and other areas.
We work with number of Airlines in the East African region. We advise them on strategic planning, sales and marketing strategies, cost analysis, pricing and revenue management, passenger and cargo demand forecasting, feasibility study, start up, business modelling and benchmarking.
We work with airports in the East Africa region on Airport strategic planning, Route developments, Airport privatisation, Safety/Security and improving commercial/ operational performance while increasing Airlines and Passengers satisfactions.
Ground Handling Agencies
We closely work with Ground Handling Agencies who provide all ramp services including, but not limited to, baggage handling, refueling, loading and unloading passengers and goods. We assist them with Customer services, Airside safety and security as well as customer services.
We collaborate with number of institutes, schools, colleges and Universities in the region of east Africa on developing new air Transport Management courses and/or updating and maintaining the existing ones. In addition, we cooperate Universities on Aviation related researches.
We work with Travel Agencies in the region to provide seamless services to their customers. We train them on Customer services, Fares and Ticketing, Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), Global Distribution Systems (GDS) including Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre and SITA.
